Import Tuning
I was fasinated with the car tuning industry since the first time I drove a slightly modified Honda Accord back in high school.
Although it was my cousin's car and all he had done to it was slapped on an intake and exhaust, I fell in love with the hobby.
It alway amazes me the endless possibilities that I can do to a machine to make it faster, and perform better.
For begininers
- Looking for a car. Start off by looking for a used import car. A honda civic is the best of choice, but the choice is yours. There is an endless possibility out there. You just have to know what to look for. Keep in mind that this will be your beginner car. You can upgrade in the furture to something better
whenever you think you are ready.
Simple Add-on's
- Cheap but inexpensive
- More expensive but worth the bucks
These are all beginner add-on's and if install properly will not hurt the vehicle nor engine in anyway. Better yet you will feel the difference in performance and ride quality.
Any other aftermarket parts such as cam gears, pistons, turbo, superchargers, etc... will require the assistance of a professional or someone with who's been working on tuning for a while.
Here are some links for you to get a taste of the import scene, and places where you can actually buy some of these parts mentioned: Import tuner,
Nopi.com . Now that you know the basics, get to tuning you car today. Good luck!
